Deutschtown is a historic neighborhood in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that was once the center of the city's German-speaking community.
The neighborhood's history dates back to the mid-1800s, when it was largely farmland, but it developed between 1850 and 1920 as the city expanded eastward. The area was subdivided into residential lots for the growing population, which included German, Swiss, Austrian, and Croatian immigrants.
Deutschtown is a National, State, and Local historic district known for its 19th and early 20th century residential buildings, shops, restaurants, and historic townhomes. The neighborhood also features cultural attractions, including summertime music festivals.
While we are not able to accept pets, we do have a trusted pet sitter whom we can recommend so that you have someone to take care of your furry family member while you enjoy your stay.
Located in Pittsburgh's North Shore historic Deutschtown, this gorgeous brownstone is the perfect base to explore Pittsburgh.
An easy 10-15 min walk to PNC Park, Acrisure Stadium, National Aviary, Andy Warhol Musuem, Convention Center, Benedum Performing Arts Center, Heinz Hall and many more.
Bars and renowned restaurants (such as Fig & Ash, Huznar, Legends) are right round the corner.

Host was very communicative and polite. The house was as described, and we felt very comfortable.
Linens not readily available for extra bed in basement. Eventually able to connect with host and linens provided. Minor issue easily resolved.
